A crystal bracelet is jewellery first. The strongest buying criteria are stone, colour, bead size, fit, finish and how easily it works with the wearer's everyday style.
Choose the stone by colour and pattern
Amethyst gives purple colour, Citrine warm yellow-gold tones, Tiger's Eye golden-brown chatoyancy, Rose Quartz soft pink and Clear Quartz a bright neutral look. Traditional meanings can be an extra story, but appearance is what the wearer experiences every day.
Bead size changes the whole look
- 6–7mm: lighter and more understated.
- 7.5–8mm: a versatile everyday size.
- 9mm+: bolder and more visually substantial.
Always check the actual bracelet dimensions because bead size is not the same as wrist fit.
Check the fit
For stretch bracelets, read the stated wrist range or total circumference. A bracelet that is too tight can be uncomfortable; too loose and it may rotate excessively or slip over the hand.
Look at polish and bead consistency
Natural beads can vary in colour, transparency, inclusions and pattern. That variation is normal. Check close-up photos for drilling, facets, shape and surface finish.

Buying as a gift
If you do not know the recipient's wrist size, choose a listing with a clearly stated stretch range or size options. Colour and everyday wearability are usually safer gift criteria than choosing a stone for a promised health or emotional effect.
